MALVERN HILLS

The Malvern Hills boasts some of the most spectacular views in the Midlands, with routes for both beginners and the more experienced walkers. The entire length of the Hills is open to the public and is crisscrossed with about 160km (100 miles) of bridleways and footpaths. Dogs are allowed on the hills and can be let off lead so long as they are well behaved. Cycling is allowed on bridleways only.

PORCELAIN MUSEUM

Alongside the piquant Lea & Perrins’ Sauce that shares its namesake with the city; Worcester is most famous for its beautiful porcelains, which are documented in the Porcelain Museum. Located within walking distance of the city centre, visitors can view collections dating back to the 18th century, as well as learn about the craftsmanship involved in porcelain production.

 

SHOPPING IN WORCESTER

Worcester is unique in its shopping experience in that it not only holds the vast Crowngate shopping centre, a complex with some of Britain’s most well-loved brands, but it also has retained a large number of independent retailers located within its city centre. The centre is largely pedestrianized for ease of access, with many cafes and restaurants available nearby.
